About Westman Speed Skating

Westman Speed Skating Club skates out of the Sportsplex in Brandon. We have skaters of all ages and of all skating abilities. Our season runs on Tuesday 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from the start of October to mid-March. You will have fun, whether you want to skate competitively or just for recreation.

First & Fast Strides

Learn to skate with our exciting new skill development program — First and Fast Strides! We focus on skill development, balance, agility, and speed through drills, games, exercises, and races! For ages 5 and up. Must be able to stand unassisted on skates.
